It's time to enroll in our fun Spring Break Camp, March 21-March 26! Every day, kids help with cleaning stalls or other jobs, then do activities with horses. For kids that want to learn new skills, particularly those that are older and want job experience, they can work with volunteers on jobs like fencing, pruning trees, carpentry, or doing equipment maintenance. Age 5 and under and some special needs kids may need to be accompanied by an adult while at camp, we determine this on a case-by-case basis. Camp starts at 9 in the morning, ends at 4 each night (we can flex times for working parents!). Campers should bring a lunch that does not need to be refrigerated or reheated, wear long pants and solid-toed shoes (boots if they have them), and dress in warm layers. Most activities are done under cover but in an unheated space. New campers and their parents should attend a one-hour orientation on the morning of or prior to the first day of camp. Call 541-451-12 four three for more information or send us an email. Also, visit our website at www.handinhandfarm.org for more information on our programs and how you can help. This camp is free, however people are welcome to make donations or help in other ways.
